Tinned Fish

A range of tinned fish from Portugal using the best of the catch and extra virgin olive oil. Smart presentation for simple, excellent produce.

All fish used by 'José Gourmet' and 'Maria Organic' brands are provided by a fishing cooperative in northern Portugal, Pro-Peixe, and the cooperative is one of the shareholders in the manufacturing factory.

Only the tastiest fish are used, and all of the fish preparation is done by hand. All fish are pre-cooked with traditional techniques and never cooked in the can.

All sardines used are certified by the MSC (Marine Stewardship Council). Only skipjack tuna species that are not endangered are used. Only mackerel fished in the Iberian Peninsula where these fish are abundant and controlled by rigid quotas are used.
