André Clouet, Grand Cru Brut Zéro, AOC Champagne
€57.00
Unlike the majority of champagnes, this extra-dry cuvée has no sugar solution added before release. The superb quality of Jean-François Clouet's Pinot Noir fruit allows him to bottle a pure, bone-dry style of champagne with cool precision, focus and linearity.
A tingling core of citrus and green fruits is delivered in a fine mousse of bubbles with toasty, complex aromas. This is a unique, 'must try' champagne!
The wines are cellared beneath a pretty, vine-covered, seventeenth-century house in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims. Jean-François is known for his fanatical devotion to his craft. Endlessly inventive, he aspires to Bollinger in style and quality.
Thanks to an ancestral land grant from Napoleon, he has the privilege of working with some of the best situated vines in the Bouzy sub-region.

Mas Codina, Cabernet Sauvignon Crianza, DO Penedès
€19.00
Robust, full-bodied Catalonian red, bursting with cassis, coffee, cedar and liquorice notes. There's the richness of fruitcake too—this is a relatively extravagant style. Silky-smooth tannins and a long, complex finish.
Oak aged for one year in a combination of French and American wood, with five further months ageing in stainless steel and then a year's cellaring in bottle before release.
This organic red would make a great choice if you're planning to cook fillet steak, rack of lamb or even good homemade burgers. If you don't care for meat, you may be interested to know that it's vegan certified too and a sturdy match for the rich, smoky flavours of aubergine or good mushrooms.
Mas Codina sits in the Alt Penedès, Catalonia, and is protected by two benevolent mountain ranges. All the fruit it uses is estate-grown.

Kinsale Mead Co., Irish Wildflower Mead
€40.00
Each honey has its own character. The bees of The Chanting Bee Apiary in West Cork visit hawthorn, wild clover and bramble flowers (amongst others) on their travels, and their honey is an expression of the summer wildflowers of the area.
This limited edition, released in April 2021, expresses that unique local quality in a semi-sweet, pale golden mead with delicate honey flavours and 11% abv.
Enjoy it on its own lightly chilled, or as an accompaniment to mild, creamy desserts or a fresh goat's cheese, where its subtle charm won't be overwhelmed.

Famille Perrin, Vacqueyras blanc 'Les Christins'
€35.00
Concentration and generous fruit in equal measure are hallmarks of the Perrin style, and this rich white wine delivers both in a lees-aged blend of Bourboulenc, Clairette and Grenache blanc.
The pale gold colour and delicate aromas of beeswax, pears and apricots introduce a silky, full-flavoured wine with peach and lime character, plenty of weight in the mouth and a long, clean finish.
