Orpheus at the Triskel
Nothing to do with wine - poet in garage band tour of Europe shock.
Paul Muldoon, bard extraordinaire, is apparently getting better and better at twanging the lyre: in his case a "reissue 1952 butterscotch Telecaster".
As before when he came to Cork, I don't suppose I'll be able to go. But I didn't want any of you to miss the chance to see Rackett when they play the Triskel in Cork on Sunday 26th August.
You can pre-listen off their website to decide whether or not you'll be wasting your time and money, and whether Rackett should stick to the day job. And hey, there is some wine - and sake - and Jägermeister - (in 'Meat and Drink') for you sticklers:
NO MORE CROUCHING ROUND A CAMPFIRE
WITH SANGRIA AND SAMPHIRE
NO NO NO NO NO
NO MORE HANGING OUT WITH MOBSTERS
OVER LAMBRUSCO AND LOBSTER
FRA DIAVOLO
