The fantastic Fié Gris that we enjoyed so much at the Loire Valley fair in February, and began importing as soon as we could, has proved very popular indeed since its triumph in the top hundred vins de pays contest, where it was adjudged Best White. Now the stocks are going down and the price is going up, as Eric Chevalier comes to terms with the success of a wine that he makes only in small quantities. His Muscadet and Chardonnay are more important to him in terms of volume. We're talking to him about how to keep our customers supplied and happy.
