Of course we always knew that, but still and all... I've just received an e-mail from Valley Neale at Brightwater Vineyards in Nelson, New Zealand, drawing my attention to the article "The Ten Best White Wines from the New World", from which this encouraging notice comes:<i>The Independent</i>'s review of Brightwater Sauvignon Blanc My last experience of the ol' Cloudy Bay was a few vintages ago now, but I do remember thinking that its fairly unrelieved passion fruit character was by no means an improvement on the Brightwater style's greater breadth in the same year.
