New choices in Sauvignon Blanc newsletter May 2022
The excellent NZ wines of Mount Riley in Marlborough are back: exuberant Sauvignon Blanc; pure, mineral Pinot Noir and a succulent Pinot Gris.
Swallows in May
As always, there have been plenty of new arrivals since our last update—just not enough time to tell you about all of them.
One significant reintroduction to the Bubble Brothers line-up, though, is the wines of Mount Riley in New Zealand. This time, in addition to the Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris that you may remember, we've added the Limited Release Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and its partner, the Limited Release Pinot Noir made from the fruit of vineyards in Central Otago. These two wines are, as the name suggests, relatively hard to come by and they are certainly worth a swallow.
To make things easier, we've put together a mixed six with the five Mount Riley wines and another new New Zealander, the Hole in the Clouds Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Just the job for sunny days and crisp evenings outdoors.
New Zealand mixed case

Each half dozen includes three different Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs—all of them zesty, tropical and aromatic—teamed up with two different Pinot Noirs from Mount Riley (one from Central Otago) and the estate's lusciously balanced, off-dry Pinot Gris in a mixed case that shows off some excellent winemaking and a real flavour of the regions.
