The house is the oldest continuously operating winery in the region, and is now an independent business within the Guigal group—when Joseph Vidal-Fleury died in 1976, there was no heir ready to take over and the company became part of Guigal in 1984. The roots of the company lie in the Northern Rhône, but the range of wines now represents both north and south.
