You may be interested to know that Wednesday December 8th sees the launch of the Best Irish Poetry in English 2010 at the headquarters of the Munster Literature Centre, 84 Douglas Street, the house where Frank O'Connor was born. The 2010 volume, which collects very good things published this year, has been edited by Matthew Sweeney, whose pan-European perspective includes the work of
Seamus Heaney, Michael Longley, Paul Muldoon, Michael McKimm, Leanne O'Sullivan, Leontia Flynn, Eva Bourke, Kerry Hardie and many others.
