Among the finest champagnes in the world.

As you taste it, notes of toasted bread, hazelnut, nougat, barley sugar and jellied fruits may take you by surprise. You may even taste hints of apples still on the tree, flowers in bloom, ripe and dried fruit, almonds, marzipan, gingerbread, sweet spices and even brioche and honey.

You may also notice its exceptional freshness in the mouth, with rich and tangy flavours of lemon and grapefruit enhanced by the subtlety of its fine and elegant bubbles. Krug Grande Cuvée can age beautifully.

Over twenty years are needed to craft each bottle of Krug Grande Cuvée. Blending so many vintages gives Krug Grande Cuvée its unique fullness of flavours and aromas, impossible to express with the wines of just a single year.

It is the first prestige cuvée re-created each year and thus beyond the very notion of vintage.

Together with Krug’s other cuvées, it has made Krug the world’s best-rated Champagne for years.

Like all Krug champagnes, it can age beautifully. The ID code, a six- digit number located on the upper left hand side of the back label, can be used as a reference to collect bottles and enjoy them later.

Every glass of Krug Grande Cuvée is the fruit of many years of craft and patience. The art of blending many years gives Krug Grande Cuvée its unique plethora of flavours and aromas, incredible generosity and an absolute elegance that would be impossible to express with the wines of a single year.
Every year, we recreate from scratch the multitude of facets that form perfect harmony on the palate, no flavour dominating or competing with another; this is the main characteristic of Krug Grande Cuvée. Its myriad aromas make Krug Grande Cuvée the richest of them all. Its true generosity means that everyone can find something in it that stirs their emotions.

Eric Lebel, Chef de Caves, Krug

"Rich, with smoky hints of roasted almond and toasted brioche, this crystalline Champagne offers a finely detailed mousse that carries the firm, citrusy acidity and flavors of patisserie apple, spun honey and tangy black cherry, accented by subtle, aromatic hints of ground cumin and clove, bergamot and chamomile."

One of the effects of COVID-19 is increased business for online businesses and courier companies, and this has led to delays despite everyone's best efforts.

PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME: UP TO FIVE WORKING DAYS for deliveries, though many arrive sooner than this.

We recommend that, for instance, you order as early as possible in the week if you are choosing wine for the weekend.

Any delays are likely to be more significant in more densely populated areas of the country.

Online delivery charges and times

Orders of €150+: free delivery nationwide

All other orders: €15 nationwide flat rate

(please NB delivery of 'offline' orders, those placed by telephone or personal visit, is also charged at €15 for purchases of less than €150, and is free of charge for purchases of €150 or more)

Orders received by midday Monday to Thursday are dispatched that day or the next day.

Orders received by noon on a Friday are dispatched that day or on the following Monday.

Online orders

Our online orders are delivered by courier to ensure fast and reliable delivery of each carefully packaged consignment. Because nobody likes breakages, we use very strong and secure packaging specially designed to protect wine bottles.

Personalised champagne orders are dispatched to meet your requested deadline, or otherwise as soon as possible. Please allow at least one extra working day for these orders to be prepared.

Eircodes please

The ideal delivery address has someone available to sign for parcels during office hours. This may mean that a work address is a better choice than a home address, as each delivery of our lovely wine needs to be signed for. An Eircode eliminates any doubt about the delivery location, and you can find or check Eircodes here.

Phone numbers please

Our couriers do their best to deliver and often have amazing local knowledge, but in the event of difficulties a reliable telephone number for the recipient makes all the difference and is a required piece of information. A mobile number is usually best.

Track your order

When we dispatch your order, we send on a tracking code so that you can follow your order in transit on the courier's website.

Delivery outside Ireland

If you need delivery to Northern Ireland, please get in touch for availability and rates. Unfortunately, we do not send wine overseas because of the complicated bureaucratic requirements and very high cost.

Returns

Faulty bottles

Wine is a natural product: its variety is what makes it so interesting!

Sometimes, though, a faulty bottle turns up. It's rare, but it does happen.

We want you to enjoy the wines you buy from us, and we'd like you to enjoy doing business with us too.

If you are unlucky enough to receive a bad bottle, please let us know immediately by calling the office on 021 431 6000 and we'll issue a credit in compensation.

Broken or Damaged Deliveries

Despite our best efforts to wrap and pack securely, damage in transit occurs from time to time.

If there's a breakage, our couriers will normally return the whole fragrant mess to us straight away.

If, however, the damage isn't apparent until you open the box, we'd still prefer to have the whole parcel collected. We'll send you a replacement as soon as possible.
