A delicately scented wine, reminiscent of broom flowers or acacia blossom. The small proportion of Viognier blended with the Vermentino lends a vibrant edge of exotic fruits, and the bouquet develops after opening into a complex, nutty profile. This is a very elegant but luxuriously rich wine, with concentrated fruit flavours supported by good acidity in a balancing act between the fresh minerality of Vermentino and the rich complexity of Viognier. It certainly supports winemaker Fabio Motta's conviction that the Bolgheri region can yield great Mediterranean-style white wines.

I strive to produce wine as my ancestors did before me, with painstaking care and patience, without any adulteration or manipulation. I was not sure about putting my name on the label. I gave it a lot of thinking and, in the end, it was not out of pride that I did it but to remain faithful to what I’ve learned so far: every wine is the unique fruit of a land, of a vintage, of a vineyard and, last but not least, of the man who made it.Fabio Motta, winemaker

Three families have been accompanying me on this journey so far: my birth family, from whom I inherited the taste for wine and love of winegrowing, my wife’s family, who taught me nearly everything I know about wine, and my own family, made up of three lovely children- Alberto, Costanza and Luigi- and my wife Benedetta.

My wife shares my passion for wine and, as she was born into a family of wine growers, she is used to putting up with the pace and whims of those around her. Just like any person in love, whatever I do, I do it for myself and for my loved ones.

One of the effects of COVID-19 is increased business for online businesses and courier companies, and this has led to delays despite everyone's best efforts.

PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME: UP TO FIVE WORKING DAYS for deliveries, though many arrive sooner than this.

We recommend that, for instance, you order as early as possible in the week if you are choosing wine for the weekend.

Any delays are likely to be more significant in more densely populated areas of the country.

Online delivery charges and times

Orders of €150+: free delivery nationwide

All other orders: €15 nationwide flat rate

Orders received by midday Monday to Thursday are dispatched that day or the next day.

Orders received by noon on a Friday are dispatched that day or on the following Monday.

Online orders

Our online orders are delivered by courier to ensure fast and reliable delivery of each carefully packaged consignment. Because nobody likes breakages, we use very strong and secure packaging specially designed to protect wine bottles.

Personalised champagne orders are dispatched to meet your requested deadline, or otherwise as soon as possible. Please allow at least one extra working day for these orders to be prepared.

Eircodes please

The ideal delivery address has someone available to sign for parcels during office hours. This may mean that a work address is a better choice than a home address, as each delivery of our lovely wine needs to be signed for. An Eircode eliminates any doubt about the delivery location, and you can find or check Eircodes here.

Phone numbers please

Our couriers do their best to deliver and often have amazing local knowledge, but in the event of difficulties a reliable telephone number for the recipient makes all the difference and is a required piece of information. A mobile number is usually best.

Track your order

When we dispatch your order, we send on a tracking code so that you can follow your order in transit on the courier's website.

Delivery outside Ireland

If you need delivery to Northern Ireland, please get in touch for availability and rates. Unfortunately, we do not send wine overseas because of the complicated bureaucratic requirements and very high cost.

Faulty bottles

Wine is a natural product: its variety is what makes it so interesting!

Sometimes, though, a faulty bottle turns up. It's rare, but it does happen.

We want you to enjoy the wines you buy from us, and we'd like you to enjoy doing business with us too.

If you are unlucky enough to receive a bad bottle, please let us know immediately by calling the office on 021 431 6000 and we'll issue a credit in compensation.

Broken or Damaged Deliveries

Despite our best efforts to wrap and pack securely, damage in transit occurs from time to time.

If there's a breakage, our couriers will normally return the whole fragrant mess to us straight away.

If, however, the damage isn't apparent until you open the box, we'd still prefer to have the whole parcel collected. We'll send you a replacement as soon as possible.
