The mouthwatering character is clear, even with the waxy lemon-zest edging that suggests it’s sliding towards its tertiary phase. The Domaine de Chevalier Blanc 2008 has an attractive, almost Burgundy-like nose with fine delineation and freshness : touches of beeswax and pressed white flowers. There is an attractive lime zest note on the finish. Superb.
