Smooth, ripe and juicy, with lush, tangy fruit. A full-flavoured, punchy wine with 15% of the fruit conditioned in French oak.

Winemaker Adam LaZarre's notes (helpfully) sum up this full, tasty and versatile wine:

When I think of Central Coast Chardonnay, I think of lush, fruit-driven wines that pack a considerable amount of flavor in every sip.

And the beauty of working with the myriad selection of vineyards I get to work with on the Central Coast is that I can put together a wine that emphasizes any number of flavor profiles I’d like. For me, this means I can blend a wine that can pair with an amazing array of foods including meats, pasta, and popcorn.

2016 was a pretty awesome vintage for a number of reasons. But the one that made the most impact on the quality of this wine was the very cool temperatures we experienced towards the latter part of ripening season. We got to pick our Chardonnay at lower sugars and higher acids than we’re used to. The result is a pretty powerful Chardonnay, perhaps the best in 10 years.

Couple that with the fact that I think I’m starting to figure out the vineyards that I work with and the results are truly exciting. The grapes were harvested with acid levels that you might find on those from Santa Barbara or the Sonoma Coast. Rich and racy. Once those parameters are in place, then the focus is on flavors and balance. I backed way off on the malolactic fermentation choosing only a small percentage to go through to protect the bright fruit flavors. I’m very happy with this wine. Here’s to hoping you are too.

Really pretty aromatics of stone fruits like peach and apricots. There are notes of bosc pear and apples with a subtle hint of sexy toasted oak. The flavors are even more impressive with strong notes of green apples, tropical fruits, and marzipan. The rich mouthfeel as a result of extended lees aging adds a considerable amount of sweetness but the acid carries the day, suspending the flavors well into the finish. Pair with fettuccine alfredo, Atlantic Sole, and fried chicken!

One of the effects of COVID-19 is increased business for online businesses and courier companies, and this has led to delays despite everyone's best efforts.

PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME: UP TO FIVE WORKING DAYS for deliveries, though many arrive sooner than this.

We recommend that, for instance, you order as early as possible in the week if you are choosing wine for the weekend.

Any delays are likely to be more significant in more densely populated areas of the country.

Online orders

Our online orders are delivered by courier to ensure fast and reliable delivery of each carefully packaged consignment. Because nobody likes breakages, we use very strong and secure packaging specially designed to protect wine bottles.

Personalised champagne orders are dispatched to meet your requested deadline, or otherwise as soon as possible. Please allow at least one extra working day for these orders to be prepared.

Eircodes please

The ideal delivery address has someone available to sign for parcels during office hours. This may mean that a work address is a better choice than a home address, as each delivery of our lovely wine needs to be signed for. An Eircode eliminates any doubt about the delivery location, and you can find or check Eircodes here.

Phone numbers please

Our couriers do their best to deliver and often have amazing local knowledge, but in the event of difficulties a reliable telephone number for the recipient makes all the difference and is a required piece of information. A mobile number is usually best.

Track your order

When we dispatch your order, we send on a tracking code so that you can follow your order in transit on the courier's website.

Delivery outside Ireland

If you need delivery to Northern Ireland, please get in touch for availability and rates. Unfortunately, we do not send wine overseas because of the complicated bureaucratic requirements and very high cost.

Faulty bottles

Wine is a natural product: its variety is what makes it so interesting!

Sometimes, though, a faulty bottle turns up. It's rare, but it does happen.

We want you to enjoy the wines you buy from us, and we'd like you to enjoy doing business with us too.

If you are unlucky enough to receive a bad bottle, please let us know immediately by calling the office on 021 431 6000 and we'll issue a credit in compensation.

Broken or Damaged Deliveries

Despite our best efforts to wrap and pack securely, damage in transit occurs from time to time.

If there's a breakage, our couriers will normally return the whole fragrant mess to us straight away.

If, however, the damage isn't apparent until you open the box, we'd still prefer to have the whole parcel collected. We'll send you a replacement as soon as possible.
