  • Shipping & delivery

    Online orders

    Our online orders are delivered by courier to ensure fast and reliable delivery of each carefully packaged consignment. Because nobody likes breakages, we use very strong and secure packaging specially designed to protect wine bottles. 

    Orders received by midday Monday to Thursday are normally dispatched that day for delivery on the following day (there are one or two very remote places, chiefly in West Cork and Kerry, where deliveries are less frequent. Call us if you're in any doubt).

    Orders received on a Friday will be kept safely on our premises and dispatched on the following Monday.

    The ideal delivery address has someone available to sign for parcels during office hours. This may mean that a work address is a better choice than a home address, as each delivery of our lovely wine needs to be signed for. An Eircode eliminates any doubt about the delivery location, and you can find or check Eircodes here.

    Our couriers do their best to deliver and often have amazing local knowledge, but in the event of difficulties a reliable telephone number for the recipient makes all the difference and is a required piece of information. A mobile number is usually best.

    Online delivery charges

    (please NB delivery of 'offline' orders, those placed by telephone or personal visit, is also charged at €15 for purchases of less than €200, and is free of charge for purchases of €200 or more)

    • Orders of up to two hundred euro: €15 nationwide flat rate 
    • Orders of two hundred euro and more: free delivery nationwide

    Orders collected from us at the Marina warehouse shop attract no delivery charge—choose 'Collect from Marina' as you check out.

    Delivery outside Ireland

    If you need delivery to Northern Ireland, please get in touch for availability and rates. Unfortunately, we do not send wine overseas because of the complicated bureaucratic requirements and very high cost.

  • Returns & Replacements

    Faulty bottles

    Wine is a natural product: its variety is what makes it so interesting!

    Sometimes, though, a faulty bottle turns up. It's rare, but it does happen.

    We want you to enjoy the wines you buy from us, and we'd like you to enjoy doing business with us too.

    If you are unlucky enough to receive a bad bottle, please let us know immediately by calling the office on 021 431 6000 and we'll issue a credit in compensation.

  • Broken or damaged deliveries

    Despite our best efforts to wrap and pack securely, damage in transit occurs from time to time.

    If there's a breakage, our couriers will normally return the whole fragrant mess to us straight away.

    If, however, the damage isn't apparent until you open the box, we'd still prefer to have the whole parcel collected. We'll send you a replacement as soon as possible.

    We share the normal concerns that everyone has about privacy online and the security of the personal information needed to complete your order. We comply with legal convention and also put into practice the spirit of the law by taking as much care of your personal information as we'd like to think others take of our own.
