RTE cookery show HEAT seeks participants

I just received an email asking me to pass this on. Someone at RTE must have noticed that word gets around if you tell the bloggers and their friends. If only there was some way of their joining in... But for the food-minded among you, here's another bite at the big cheese: Ireland's amateur chefs wanted for RTE show and chance to win €10,000 prize RTE's HEAT is currently on the hunt again for Ireland's most enthusiastic amateur chefs. We are looking for people who have never cooked professionally but know their roux from their 'roo; people who have always fancied plating up their own creations in a real and pressured restaurant; people who have a passion for food and a competitive edge. So, can you stand the HEAT? Do you have what it takes to design a menu and cook it for real, paying customers in a real restaurant? Are you prepared to put your culinary ability to the test in the ultimate pressure cooker - a professional kitchen? Are you able to design and execute a winning menu under the steely gaze of one of Ireland's best and toughest chefs? Would you like to win a culinary holiday worth €10,000? If you can answer yes to these questions then get in touch by emailing heat@loosehorse.ie or call us on 01 613 6052. Applicants must be over 18, never worked in a professional kitchen, have the flexibility to be available for occasional filming over a 2 month period and most importantly love food and cooking.
